Military Family Research Institute offers community grantsMany Indiana communities and family support groups work hard to support local members of the military and their families. The Military Family Research Institute aims to assist communities in these efforts, so we offer competitive small monetary grants of up to $2,500 to community organizations and family support groups that strive to improve the quality of life for military families.
The competitive Community Mobilization Grant Program was designed to support, grow and influence programs and practices that assist and support military families and veterans in Indiana communities. Grants that include a component related to homelessness, education, employment and/or mental wellness will receive a higher priority in the competitive grant scoring. The grants may be used to:
- Increase availability and resources to innovative programming designed to support and assist military families and veterans across Indiana
- Increase access to resources available to military families
- Increase community awareness and understanding of the military family experience
- Decrease the unmet needs of military families in Indiana communities.
