Webinar provides tools for financial professionals to help military, veteran families

Communities and advocacy groups support military and veteran families through various efforts. Now, targeted resources, including a 30-minute webinar, are available for financial professionals and community groups.

"How to Help Military and Veteran Families" is an 11-part series created by the Military Family Research Institute, in collaboration with USDA/DOD Extension Military Partnership and the National Military Family Association. Print and web-based issues support community efforts that help veterans, service members and their families.

Now MFRI and its collaborators have produced a “How to Help Military and Veteran Families: For Financial Professionals” featuring Holly Petraeus, assistant director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s Office of Servicemember Affairs. The webinar is designed to help those who work with and on behalf of military-affiliated communities to better understand the financial challenges and opportunities that they face.

If you are a financial professional looking to help military-affiliated families, take 30 minutes to view this webinar, and share it with your colleagues. You can make a difference by taking this step to build a better community for military and veteran families.
