Military support centers, community organizations and others offer resources to military, veterans and their family members. They also help those who need specific services. Communities can give back to military and veteran families through the support systems that they offer.

Rural Urban Continuum
Definition: The 2013 Rural-Urban Continuum Codes form a classification scheme that distinguishes metropolitan counties by the population size of their metro area, and nonmetropolitan counties by degree of urbanization and adjacency to a metro area. An update of the Rural-Urban Continuum Codes is planned for mid-2023.
